Well, I’m bored. I want to ride really bad, but I still want to give Daisy more time to heal-just in case that’s going to help. She was acting like she had a urinary tract infection for a while, but I think that’s pretty rare in horses. She was better today, though. We had a bath and I scrubbed her mane in the hopes that she will be good to go on Sunday for the show. We finished here bath, I walked her around to dry off, then when she was fairly dry, I put her in a pasture and we hung out for a while. Here’s what happened:

Oh No She Didn't!!!
Yes-She did. It’s ok. I expected it
I figured she needed a good roll and the show is in a week so she’s going to need another bath anyway. It was more that mane that I wanted to scrub the crud out of.
I called the vet yesterday and left a message for him to call me back. I’m going to have him come out to discuss whether there’s an infection, something else causing lameness, or maybe she’s just in season all the time and needs some hormone supplement to avoid that. Any way it goes, I need to talk to him about it so we’ll jsut have him come out. I’m glad I have insurance on her! Let’s see if it actually pays….
